Customer Reviews

"Union Diner is one of the best classic diners in the area, and every visit reminds me why. The food is consistently delicious. Whether it's the hearty stuffed pepper topped with rich sauce, perfectly crisp bacon, fresh grilled bread, a loaded Philly cheesesteak with fries, or their comforting homemade soups. Everything tastes like it's made with care. What really sets Union Diner apart is the service. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and always fast. You never sit waiting, and everyone makes you feel like a regular, even if it's your first time. It's the kind of warm, reliable spot you can count on for great food and even better people. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly welcoming, reliable place to eat in Endicott!"

"Went on Christmas day for lunch. Service was slow but very nice. Everyone thought their food was decent. Big menu and HUGE desserts. Limited vegetarian options."

"This was my second time visiting the diner, and once again it was a great experience. I ordered the hamburger deluxe, which is my go-to choice at any diner. I asked for it medium-rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The fries were crispy and fresh. Other members of my family ordered the hamburger deluxe, a chicken finger basket, and a chicken gyro. The chicken fingers were also nicely crispy, and the chicken gyro was grilled well and cut lengthwise, which made it easy to eat. The service was excellent--drink refills came before we even had to ask, and the food arrived right on time. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I really enjoy coming here; the prices are comparable to fast food, but the quality and options are much better. Highly recommended."

"Perhaps day and time make a difference. I went for lunch on s Tuesday and everything was perfect. Hostess was friendly and personable, as was the waitress. Menu variety has something for every taste and budget. My chicken salad sandwich is the best I ever had, and the coleslaw was good too. Food came promptly. I've been here over the span of many years, since it first opened as The Peppermill. It got run down a bit for awhile, but it is like new and scrupulously clean now. I'll be back."

"Stopped for lunch today. Had the chicken florentine soup. Which had a good taste. Then I had the Reuben sandwich, which had a great taste. It came with French fries. They had good music playing. If you're in the mood for good food at good prices, give the Union diner a try."

"Wonderful staff! Delicious food! Great diner atmosphere. The dessert case looks incredible and although we didn't have any, we saw it being served and carried out a lot! We did breakfast twice while in the area and it did not disappoint!"
